Mary Welch y Los Curanderos

   John was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, and raised in San Antonio. And has recorded several demo CD's of various bands. also He has been playing music since the mid 80's, with influences such has Andy Bullington & James Van Gee, just to name two.

John also worked with Mary to get the band started back in 2000 under the name Mary Welch y Nopal Negro. A few years later they updated the name to Mary Welch y Los Curanderos which was suggested by our pervious conga player Jeff Huckabee
