I reached for amethyst this morning. Took it from my altar where it calls to me from across the room, like the starlings at opposite corners of the yard. I want this. To be suspended between voices, wrapped in song. Today I asked to remember: Let me stay soft and gentle like this tender purple stone. Let my life bridge between my heart and my altar, my body and my spirit. Let me absorb what comes my way with ease and acceptance. With kindness.
